The 3rd edition of Soleil d’hiver is coming to warm you up!
Soleil d’hiver, is the heat of the Caribbean in the heart of Montreal winter!
The festivities of the day will be filled with many activities for adults and children.
Visitors can relax on long chairs in our indoor beach , feast on tasty Creole food, discover new trends through our Fashion shows, vibrate to the carnival rhythms, attend our many musical performances and demonstrations of our traditional dances. And on this 3rd edition, the day’s activities will end with an official closing party (or event).

ART TEXTILE : STRUGGLE AND SOFTNESS

Art Textile: Struggle and Softness features textile artworks that will delight with their superb quality and bold juxtaposition of materials and subject matter.
Chainmail in wool yarn; a cannon barrel in tulle; an army coat made of teabags; a horse’s mane made of ribbons: these are just some of the show’s studies in contrasts. In the exhibition, textile art will be showcased through a series of astonishing pieces on the theme of struggle, whether historical, social or personal.

Just ahead of Valentine's Day, the best craftsmen and master chocolatiers of Québec, along with several well-known fashion designers, will come together at the Marché Bonsecours for the third edition of “Je t'aime en chocolat!: The chocolate lovers rendez-vous."
This event features a showcase of products from leading chocolate brands, as well as conferences, workshops, and displays, all on the subject of chocolate.
Also on the programme is a chocolate fashion show that will marry the spectacular talents of master chocolatiers with those of well-respected Québec fashion designers.

The event showcases 150 of the year’s most memorable press photographs. Oxfam-Québec presents, for the first time, Regards d’Oxfam-Québec, featuring exclusive photographs by Montréal photojournalist Émilie Régnier.
Alongside the exhibition, the 5th edition of AnthropoGraphia’s international competition presents 12 photo-reportages and 6 multimedia projects devoted to human rights.
